Modern Midi Hairstyles

Mid-length hairstyles are on trend again for 2024.  Wolf cuts and shag haircuts were all the rage in 2023, but this year our stylists predict that the midi will be more sophisticated, with fewer wild layers.

Midi styles look refined  and effortless, particularly when coupled with a new hair colour.  

The Hush Haircut

The fashionable Hush Haircut is characterised by soft face-framing layers and a wispy fringe.  Layers are 4added throughout the hair to  provide movement by distributing the weight.  The cut makes it easy for the hair to just fall into place and look great, with minimum styling required. 

As its name suggests, it’s a perfect light and relaxed style for a makeover.  With its feathered layers and delicate tendrils, the Hush is a flattering haircut for most face shapes too.

Short Hairstyles

From modern tousled pixie cuts to fashionable 70s inspired Purdy cuts, short hair has never been more fashionable!

Modern short hairstyles focus on texture and soft feminine looks rather than harsh razored styles.  By leaving more length on the top they are versatile and allow you to style your hair however you like. 

Italian Bobs

The Italian Bob first rose to popularity during 2023 and this year it’s predicted to be everywhere!  This layered look has lots of natural movement and body and it’s worn slightly longer than the French bob.   It’s a versatile haircut which is easy to style for a natural, bouncy look.   

Depending on your personal style, it can be blow-dried smooth and chic and it can also be worn up if there’s enough length.  Just let your stylist know whether you’d like to add a fringe to complete the look.

Fringe Haircuts 2024

Adding a fringe or bangs is a brilliant way to transform your look for the new year without losing any length.  Still popular this year are 90s style curtain bangs as well as newly trending Birkin bangs, a heavy fringe with soft feathered edges.
